Probably The Simplest Vision Exercise To Rebuild Your Eyesight

There are more than a dozen vision exercises out there that you can try to sharpen your eyesight. Few of them are definitely worthy, some are just OK, and others are only a waste of time. How do you distinguish which is which?

That’s my question two years ago. Ever since then, I have deliberately use all the vision exercises I am aware of and charted my progress. How do they fare? My conclusion impressed me.

Twenty percent of the vision therapy I implemented was responsible for 80% of my progress. I take note of these eye exercises and category them to what I called “the fundamentals”. Those eye exercises, I believed, are the foundation of any vision enhancement program.

In this post, I am going to tell you one of these eye exercises. It is called “palming”. It may sound too simple but trust me, it works. It goes like the following:

Make sure you’re sitting down for this eye exercises. Close your eyes and lightly place your palms on them, so that you could see no light. Imagine the tense in your neck and shoulders are dissipating. Dream of anything that relaxes you. It can be any one thing. A beautiful beach? A quiet garden surrounded by large field of flowers, maybe.

When you palm, make sure you set a countdown timer hence you do not worry how long you have been doing it. Palm for a total of 10 minutes, three times everyday. Once when you get up in the break of the day, once during your recess from work and once just prior to you go to sleep.

Palming in the morning enables you to insert a standard for the rest of the day. The one in the noon enables your eyes to chill out and alleviate stress. While the one in the evening rest your eyes and readies it for sleep.
